- Manage immigration case files from intake through decision: track USCIS receipt notices, RFEs, biometrics appointments, interview notices, and filing deadlines so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Draft cover letters, declarations, and supporting-evidence packets; organize and index exhibits.
- Monitor case status through USCIS online accounts and agency portals, and keep clients updated on progress.
- Support criminal defense cases, including preparing and filing motions, pleadings, and discovery, and tracking court dates and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients, courts, USCIS, the immigration court (EOIR), consulates, and other government agencies.
- Provide bilingual support in English and Spanish to assist clients.
- Handle general administrative tasks to maintain smooth case flow.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or in an equivalent role; 5+ years preferred.

- Knowledge of criminal defense law; experience drafting motions is a significant advantage.
- Required: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, written and verbal. A significant portion of our clients are Spanish-speaking, and this role involves direct client communication in Spanish daily.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, fast-paced team.
