This assignment calls for a dedicated SLP ready to supervise a motivated SLPA and manage a targeted caseload, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Required Experience and Qualifications
- Active MD SLP License
- MD Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience with supervision of SLPA(s) is a plus
- Ability to work onsite or in a hybrid capacity to fulfill supervision requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a caseload of 20 students
- Supervise and support the assigned Speech-Language Pathology Assistant onsite or hybrid as needed
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation per district and state guidelines
