Full Job Description

CESI is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer for its Concord, NC office to assess and analyze the ground on which buildings and other structures will be built.

Job Snapshot:

Geotechnical data reduction, analysis, and field work for commercial and residential projects.
Assist with project management and reporting.
Assist in developing the scope of work for routine projects.
Site and material characterization.
Seismic site class evaluations.
Settlement and slope stability analysis.
Grade and quality evaluations.
Assist in preparation of technical reports that document investigations, analyses, facility designs.
Assist in preparation of project design packages including technical drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
Consult with clients and maintain work relationships.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1-3 years’ experience in Geotechnical Engineering
North Carolina PE or EIT or ability to acquire within a year
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferred
Good verbal and written communication skills
Authorized to work in the United States
