Incoming Quality Coordinator - Onsite
Job Summary
The Incoming Quality Coordinator is responsible for the controlled intake and routing of all externally sourced materials, components, and assemblies entering the organization. This role ensures that incoming goods meet documentation, traceability, and quality requirements before being released to internal operations. The position plays a vital role in maintaining conformity of supply, protecting manufacturing integrity, and supporting operational flow across manufacturing and assembly environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials, components, and assemblies from external suppliers in accordance with internal receiving protocols.
- Verify documentation accuracy, including certificates of conformity, inspection reports, and shipping documentation.
- Perform basic inspection and quality checks to confirm that incoming goods meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Enter goods and documentation data accurately into the company’s inventory and quality tracking systems.
- Coordinate internal routing of received items to appropriate departments, work centers, or storage locations.
- Collaborate with Quality Engineers and Supply Chain to resolve discrepancies, nonconformities, or missing documentation.
- Maintain organized receiving and quarantine areas, ensuring traceability and compliance at all times.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of receiving processes and documentation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in goods receiving, inspection, or quality administration within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes, ideally within a high-performance or precision-engineering context.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and organizational skills.
- Proficient with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration across technical and operational teams.
- Forklift certification required; safe operation of material handling equipment is essential.
