Position Summary
The Process Account Manager is a technically driven sales position responsible for supporting and growing business in the Midstream market with a focus on Natural Gas Processing. This role combines an engineering mindset with consultative selling to translate customer specifications, process conditions, and measurement requirements into technically sound, commercially competitive solutions. The position works directly with end-users, EPC firms, engineering groups, Measurement Managers, VPs, Directors, and other technical and commercial decision-makers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute strategic sales plans focused on major accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities to grow revenue, expand market share, and strengthen key customer relationships.
- Build trusted technical and commercial relationships with EPC firms, engineering groups, operators, Measurement Managers, VPs, Directors, and other key decision-makers.
- Review customer RFQs focusing on specifications and application requirements to select appropriate products, systems and services and communicating with Engineering to produce accurate and compliant quotations.
- Lead and support technical and commercial presentations, product discussions, and customer training with engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders.
- Negotiate pricing, scope, and commercial terms in coordination with Sales Management.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and quote status; coordinate with Inside Sales, Engineering, Operations, Field Service, and Marketing through project award and post-sale support.
- Actively participate in industry organizations, including GPA, and relevant events to strengthen industry relationships.

- Contaminant Analyzers
- Flow Measurement
- Sample Handling Systems and Phase Curves
- Integrated Systems
- Field Service
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and an engineering-oriented approach to problem solving and solution development.
- Experience in the Midstream market focused on Natural Gas Processing centered around chromatography, contaminant analysis, and measurement or other similar market segments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, process data, customer requirements, and engineering documentation.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and written communication skills with credibility across technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities and follow through with a high level of accountability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft 365; CRM experience preferred.
- Ability to travel approximately 50%, including overnight travel, and authorization to work in the United States.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred; equivalent technical education and relevant industry experience will be considered.
- Five (5) or more years of relevant experience in natural gas processing, measurement, analytical instrumentation, technical sales, or applications engineering.
- Experience working with EPC firms, engineering organizations, and senior technical or commercial stakeholders strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, or riding in a vehicle; ability to access customer offices, industrial facilities, and field locations as required.
Environmental Conditions
Work is performed in a typical office environment and at customer or field locations, which may include outdoor weather, industrial environments, noise, and other site-specific conditions.
