PenFed is hiring a Manager, Corporate Security to work onsite at our San Antonio, Texas Service Center. The Manager, Corporate Security, is responsible for managing and implementing PenFed's Corporate Security program within an assigned region. The position serves as the primary security officer for region-based physical security systems, ensuring protection of financial center and service centers locations in high impact/high visibility areas.

Develop and support staff using a collaborative approach; Mentor, evaluate, and guide their performance.

Coordinate with business and technical teams to identify security needs and implement effective solutions.

Oversee day-to-day physical security operations, including access control, CCTV, alarms, and incident response for assigned facilities.

Serve as the primary point of contact for physical security risks, safety issues, and emergency procedures in the region.

Develop project plans and schedules; Coordinate resources and timelines with stakeholders to meet aggressive deadlines.

Conduct regular reviews of physical security risks and recommend enhancements or changes.

Monitor, analyze, and investigate security incidents to determine causes, identify weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions.

Coordinate with local law enforcement, emergency responders, and investigative agencies as needed.

Provide training for robbery prevention and safety awareness in partnership with branch management and Human Resources

Oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of security equipment by vendors within budget constraints.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting and documentation of security-related activities.

Remain current on security trends, threats, and best practices, applying knowledge to strengthen the program.

Participate in internal and external audits from a security perspective.

Support the development and management of the Corporate Security budget as required.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.
- Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.

Minimum of six (6) to seven (7) years' experience in physical security programs, design, detection and risk mitigation, with at least three to two (2) to three (3) years of supervisory experience

Knowledge, proficiency and implementation of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection and Biometrics is required (list in resume types of systems used).

Demonstrated knowledge and experience conducting analysis, complex investigations and report writing.

Skillful and demonstrated execution in conducting and documenting site security assessments.

Ability to handle multiple projects and demonstrated experience as a high functioning team player in a Corporate Security environment.

Experience using automation or A.I. tools preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will supervise employees.
Licenses and Certifications
Certification in recognized security organization is preferred (CPP, PSP).
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.

Travel
Travel up to 40% to various worksites is required within a specific PenFed Corporate Security region.
Pay Transparency
The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $60,000.00 - $93,159.00
This position is eligible for an organizational performance based annual bonus, subject to board discretion and approval.
This position is eligible for an individual performance based annual bonus.
