Job Title: Loss Mitigation Specialist

Location: San Diego, CA - Onsite

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $22.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

FLSA Status: [Non-Exempt]
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Job Summary:
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring a Loss Mitigation Specialist for an established mortgage servicing company. In this role, you'll support borrowers experiencing financial hardship by collecting and reviewing documentation, ensuring applications are complete, and providing excellent customer service throughout the loan assistance process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect and review borrower documentation for loss mitigation applications
Determine application completeness and follow up on missing information
Maintain accurate records and upload documents into loan servicing systems
Assist borrowers by answering questions and guiding them through the process
Ensure timely, accurate processing while following company and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and support department goals
Assist with administrative projects and other assigned duties

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of experience in mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, loan servicing, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
