Greater Tomorrow Home Care Agency LLC

Administrator

Job Summary:

The Administrator is an individual appointed by the Governing Body to administer, direct, and

coordinate all the activities/programs of the Home Care Organization. They function under the direction of the Governing Body.

Qualifications:

A professional with training and experience in home care/services delivery/administration or a related industry.
Prefer One (1) year of supervisory/administrative experience in home care/services or related program.
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Must have CDSS Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities:

Planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating operations to ensure the provision of

adequate and appropriate care/services.

Complying with applicable state, local & federal laws, and regulations.
Fiscal planning, budgeting, and management of operations in accordance with established

fiscal parameters.

Implementing governing body directives and ensuring that appropriate service policies are

Developed and implemented.

Recruiting, employing, and retaining qualified personnel to maintain staffing levels.
Establishing and maintaining effective channels of communication.
Ensuring program personnel have current information and current practices.
Directing and monitoring organizational QA activities.
Ensuring staff development including orientation, in-service education, continuing education, and evaluation of staff.
Ensuring appropriate staff supervision during all operating hours.
Assuring the development and qualifications for services and the assignment of personnel.
Ensuring the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
Informing the governing body, staff of current organizational, community, and industry trends.
Develops administrative policies and procedures relating to the Organization.
Reviews and evaluates existing policies and procedures by means of Annual Organization

Evaluation completion.

Participates in preparation of reports & a required budgets.
Determines organizational lines of authority and fixes areas of responsibility.
Performs staff performance evaluations and processes merit increase requests.
Approves all salary increases and staff promotions.
Authorizes purchase of supplies and equipment.
Acts as official Organization spokesperson and representative.
Contacts local, state, and national associations and participates in meetings, conventions, etc.

Greater Tomorrow Home Care Agency LLC

Cooperates with other organizations to increase and improve services to the community.
Handles client complaints and investigations.
Handles unresolved problems between staff and supervisors.
Accommodates Federal, State, and regulatory personnel on Organization survey visits.
Projects a concerned, professional attitude and develops a positive rapport with all staff.
Develops an open, positive rapport with community resources affiliated with the Organization.
Maintains high visibility and availability via telephone to referral sources, community resources, clients, and staff.
Actively pursues new and innovative marketing opportunities.
Ensures clients’ rights in accordance with state and federal laws.
Ensures that the safety and security of staff prior to or during an emergency/disaster according to the establish disaster plan.
Ensures that the agency is compliant with the Agency Civil Rights/Section 1557.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $27.10 - $32.64 per hour
