Full Job Description

Fit Pro Finders, the premier fitness staffing agency, is searching for top tier Fitness Professionals. Our talent works for multiple luxury brands in New York City (companies to be dislocated during screening process). This role would be based at a facility (gym, residential, or commercial building) in Bergen County, New Jersey.

Requirements:

At least 1-2 yrs of previous Personal Training, Assisted Stretching, Massage Therapy, or Physical Therapy experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nationally accredited certification and/or Bachelors Degree in Movement Science, or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Within 60 days of employment
Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
Reliable, professional, computer literate

Responsibilities:

Conduct safe and effective one on one personal training & stretch sessions
Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise
techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving weight
up to 50 pounds
Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs and
products
Submit Daily Client Report Form with supporting documentation for payment
Maintain updated client list & submit to Manager
Follow all policies and procedures regarding payment transactions
Complete all appropriate forms as needed
Maintain required production hours per pay period
Sell motivators at Point Of Sale
Follow all guidelines in Personal Training Handbook
Know, understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards
Facilitate member requests or forward to a manager
Maintain professional atmosphere at all times
Know club facility and services
Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook
Above description may be subject to change or alteration at any time

Meetings:

Daily 1-1 Meeting with Fitness Manager
Bi-Weekly Personal Training Meetings
Employee Training/Certification Meetings
Annual Staff Meetings

Physical Demands:

Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
