Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Liberty Station | San Diego, CA
Part-Time | Hybrid Remote

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented AP/AR Coordinator to support a growing portfolio of hospitality, golf, and retreat businesses in San Diego County.

This role will work across multiple businesses including:

Loma Club Golf Course
Orchard Hill Hotel
The Oaks Retreat Center
Additional affiliated entities and projects

This is an ideal role for an experienced accounting professional who is intentionally seeking part-time work, whether you're semi-retired or simply prefer a flexible schedule over a full-time position.

The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, responsive, comfortable handling multiple priorities, and enjoys building systems in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.

This is not a corporate accounting role. We are looking for someone who can think critically, solve problems, communicate well with managers and vendors, and help keep operations running smoothly across multiple businesses.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

Process vendor bills and ensure timely payments
Maintain organized records and approvals
Coordinate with vendors regarding billing issues
Monitor recurring expenses and subscriptions
Data entry into various accounting systems
Provide weekly report of vendor payments and cash balances to Accounting Manager/Controller

Accounts Receivable

Manage invoicing and collections
Track outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts
Post event deposits, membership billing, and group payments

Administrative

Collect and organize incoming mail
Directly supports the Accounting Manager
Manages AP and AR processes

Qualifications

3+ years of AP/AR, bookkeeping, or accounting administrative experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Strong communication and follow-through
Hospitality, restaurant, or multi-location business experience preferred
Experience with QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, and Microsoft Excel preferred
Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities from day one

Compensation

$20 - 30/hour depending on experience

Location

This is a hybrid remote role based out of Liberty Station in San Diego, with occasional coordination across nearby properties. Day-to-day will be remote work, with occasional on-site meetings as needed and weekly mail collection.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
