Job Title
Manufacturing Process Planner
Who are we?
As an aircraft manufacturer, industrialist, industrial service provider and logistician, Daher currently has approximately 14,500 employees and achieved a revenue of 1.9 billion euros in 2025. With its family ownership, Daher has been focused on innovation since its creation in 1863. With locations in 15 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, Daher designs and develops value-added solutions for its aeronautical and industrial customers and partners
Kodiak Aircraft is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Planner to support aircraft production by managing and maintaining manufacturing data within our ERP system. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate production planning, configuration control, and seamless integration between Engineering and Manufacturing.
Why this role matters: accurate mBOMs, routings, work instructions, engineering changes, and ERP data help production build the right aircraft with the right information.
This is not a junior documentation role and not a fully autonomous transformation role on day one. We are looking for someone who can execute established planning standards with discipline, flag issues early, and grow toward greater independence and influence over time.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
-
Create and maintain ERP manufacturing data, including mBOMs, routings, and work instructions, under established standards.
-
Review manufacturing data before release to check for completeness, accuracy, and executability.
-
Support translation of eBOMs, drawings, and manufacturing process definitions into structured production data.
-
Implement assigned engineering changes in ERP while supporting configuration traceability by aircraft.
-
Flag gaps between ERP data and actual shop-floor execution and escalate significant issues when needed.
-
Support MRP accuracy, production scheduling, planning, supply chain execution, and continuous improvement of data quality.
What you need to have:
-
5-7 years of experience in manufacturing planning, manufacturing engineering, or ERP data management in a complex production environment.
- Solid working experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or equivalent, including mBOMs and routings.
-
Experience with eBOM/mBOM reconciliation, or strong aptitude and willingness to develop this skill using PLM systems such as Teamcenter or similar.
-
Hands-on exposure to or direct support of a shop-floor production environment.
-
Working understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, structures, avionics, or related operations.
-
Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, communication skills, cross-functional collaboration, and good escalation judgment.
-
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field; aircraft manufacturing or regulated-industry experience; familiarity with AS9100, FAA/FAR Part 23, Lean, MRP, digital work instructions, or manufacturing data system.
