Millie's under NEW MANAGEMENT, a restaurant in Priest Lake is looking to hire a General Manager for an immediate start! Housing available for the right candidates!!!!Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our vibrant dining establishment. Housing is available. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels in team management, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, from staff supervision and food quality to financial performance and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a diverse hospitality team, including front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift management, efficient food preparation, and timely service delivery.
Manage inventory control, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures to maintain high-quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Utilize POS systems for order processing, cash handling, sales tracking, and reporting.
Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation, customer service excellence, food safety, and operational procedures to enhance team skills.
Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability.
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.

Requirements

Proven management experience in fine dining.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices.
Hands-on experience with POS systems ; adept at cash handling and sales reporting.
Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team leadership, interviewing candidates, and managing hospitality teams.
Familiarity with inventory control, food safety management (including HACCP standards), and budget management.
Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining environments; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
Strong communication skills for managerial oversight, staff development, and customer engagement.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and service.
