Are you dedicated, observant, and passionate about ensuring safety and security? We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Unarmed Security Guard to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach will help prevent incidents and address any concerns promptly. General Duties:

· Secure facility and property through observation and inspections; monitor surveillance equipment; monitor access control points; permit or deny entry to premises.

· Alert help by sounding facility alarms.

· Prevent losses and damage; report irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures; restrain trespassers.

· Control traffic by directing drivers.

· Write reports and maintain activity log; record observations, information, and surveillance activity; interview witnesses.

· Ensure safety and security of the facility and personnel through access control and screening and divesting procedures

· Conduct self in professional manner; lend credibility to client site; be courteous and uplifting; bring people together by being neutral and understanding of people from diverse background.

· Comply with all legal requirements.

· Contributes to team synergy by communicating, deconflicting, sharing ideas, and complementing efforts.

· De-escalate volatile situations; Protect the most vulnerable from threats (physical and non-physical); Contribute to safe and secure work environment.

· Project peace.

Schedules Available:

· 1st Shift: 0800-1600 (M-Sun)

· 2nd Shift: 1600-0000 (M-Sun)

· 3rd Shift: 0000-0800 (M-Sun)

· Please note that the above listed schedules allow for part-time and full-time positions.

Minimum Qualifications:

· 1 year of security experience

· 1 year of customer service

· Reliable Transportation

· Driver’s License

· High school or equivalent education

· 18+ years old

Pay: $16.50 per hour (M-F), $17.50 per hour (Sat & Sun)

Work Location: Sandusky, OH (on-site)

Education:

Minimum High School or equivalent (Required)

Desired Experience:

Security: 1 year
Customer service: 1 year (Required)
Military or Law Enforcement
Crisis intervention: 1 year

License/Certification:

Driver's License (Required)
Ability to meet the minimum requirements to obtain and maintain a guard card through the Ohio Private Investigator and Security Guard Services (PISGS)

Additional Requirements: must complete before first day of work

Ability to pass a BCI and FBI background check pursuant ORC 4749.03 and 4749.06
Ability to pass a BCI background check pursuant ORC 3721.121
Ability to pass a 5-Pannel Drug Screening
Ability to pass a Tuberculosis Screening
Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Physical Examination
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or exemption request

In-processing employees are eligible for a $50.00 bonus for completion of their drug screening, TB screening, and physical if completed within one week of hire.

Sandusky, OH (Erie County) (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

Sandusky, OH (Erie County): Relocate before starting work (Required)

Those selected to move forward with the hiring process will receive 40 hours of paid training at $12.00/hr.

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
