Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to lead our sign company's project planning, execution, and client engagement efforts. This role combines precise cost estimation with comprehensive project management to ensure timely delivery of high-quality signage solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging their expertise in project lifecycle management, process improvement, and team leadership to drive success from initial concept through project completion. Join us to shape impactful visual communications while managing resources efficiently and fostering collaborative teamwork.

Duties

Develop accurate cost estimates by analyzing project requirements, specifications, and vendor proposals, utilizing tools such as Excel data analysis and ERP systems.
Lead the entire project management lifecycle, including scope management, schedule development using Service Fusion, risk assessment, and quality control.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project goals through requirements gathering and requirements analysis.
Monitor project budgets and control costs via earned value management techniques; manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize resources.
Lead team management efforts by supervising technical staff, fostering change management initiatives, and promoting a culture of accountability through conflict management and leadership skills.

Skills

Extensive experience in project management methodology & standards, scope management, time management, risk management, and program development.
Proficiency with project management software such as, Service Fusion; strong data analysis skills using Excel or SAS.
Demonstrated ability in requirements gathering, requirements management, process mapping, and business process modeling to streamline workflows.
Skilled in negotiation, vendor management, IT infrastructure coordination, and contract administration within a technical environment.
Strong leadership qualities with supervising experience in technical projects; adept at team management and program development across multiple projects or portfolios.
Excellent communication skills for presentation delivery, meeting facilitation, conflict resolution, and technical writing; capable of managing stakeholder expectations effectively.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma practices such as DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control), Waterfall vs Agile frameworks, and program design principles.
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle; experience with content management systems or product lifecycle management tools is a plus.
