Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating CNC machinery. This role is essential in producing high-quality components that meet precise specifications while adhering to safety and quality standards. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC machines, including milling machines and electrical discharge machining equipment.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to produce parts according to specifications.
Program CNC machines using Fanuc or similar systems to achieve desired outcomes.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products using bore gauges and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks, including welding when necessary.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.
Familiarity with programming CNC machines, particularly Fanuc systems.
Experience using tooling, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Ability to operate forklifts safely is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus but not required.
A commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail is essential.
