Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Lead Technician to direct daily field operations and represent our brand on job sites.
As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for leading a 1–2 person crew, operating specialized soft-washing and high-pressure cleaning equipment, interacting directly with homeowners and property managers, and ensuring all services—from roof washing to permanent lighting setups—are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities1. On-Site Field Leadership & Crew Coordination
- Lead daily job execution on residential and commercial job sites across our service area.
- Train, mentor, and supervise Assistant Technicians in proper cleaning methods, safety standards, and equipment operation.
- Conduct pre-job walk-throughs with homeowners to review the scope of work and identify pre-existing conditions or sensitive landscaping.
- Conduct post-job inspections to ensure 100% customer satisfaction before leaving the job site.
2. Service Execution
- Perform Soft Washing & Pressure Washing on vinyl siding, brick, stucco, wood, composite decks, fences, driveways, and patios.
- Execute specialized Roof Washing using low-pressure soft-wash systems and eco-friendly solutions to eliminate black streaks and organic growth without damaging shingles.
- Provide Window Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning, and Patio Furniture Restoration.
- Assist in the assembly, mounting, and testing of Permanent & Seasonal Outdoor Lighting Systems.
- Ensure landscaping, plants, and property features are properly prepped, watered, covered, and protected throughout the cleaning process.
3. Equipment & Truck Management
- Safely operate work trucks, chemical delivery systems, high-gpm pressure washers, surface cleaners, and soft-wash pumps.
- Perform daily maintenance checks on rigs, pumps, hoses, and nozzles; report and troubleshoot equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked service vehicle.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocol, including proper ladder usage, fall protection, PPE (gloves, eye protection, masks), and chemical safety handling (SDS).
- Ensure full compliance with eco-friendly cleaning standards and runoff control guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: On-the-job training will be provided. Home service industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (must be eligible to drive company vehicles).
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, comfortably work on ladders, roofs, handle heavy hoses, work outdoors in varying North Carolina weather conditions, and stand/bend for extended periods.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, self-directed, and detail-oriented.
