About the Role

As a Precision Manual Machinist, you will play a vital role in transforming raw materials into high-precision components that drive our production success. By leveraging your expertise in Bridgeport mills and conventional lathes, you will ensure that every part meets rigorous quality standards while contributing to efficient shop floor operations.

Responsibilities

Execute complex machining tasks including turning, milling, drilling, and tapping to produce high-quality parts.
Translate technical blueprints and engineering schematics into actionable machining sequences.
Verify component integrity by utilizing precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Optimize production workflows by troubleshooting equipment performance and making real-time adjustments.
Uphold strict dimensional tolerances to ensure product excellence and consistency.
Maintain a high-functioning workspace through proactive machine maintenance and organized housekeeping.
Partner with engineering and production teams to refine manufacturing processes and boost overall output.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a manual machining role.
Advanced proficiency in operating conventional lathes and Bridgeport milling machines.
Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
Deep understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, and material properties.
Demonstrated success using precision inspection instruments to maintain quality.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience with ProtoTRAK mill operation.
