Full Job Description

Overview

Studio GL is looking for an experienced sales associate in a beautiful retail environment located in Santa Fe, NM. Our studio designs contemporary one of a kind jewelry influenced by the ethnic Native American designs and Western geometric patterns. We are hiring immediately for a part time sales associate.

This is a great opportunity with commission on sales. Applicants should have successful sales experience. A background check and references are required. The schedule will include working partial weekends either Saturday or Sunday, or both days if available.

Cooperating with the social media manager would be another aspect of the position to assist in taking photos and add information to our product inventory.

In person interviews can be held at either our production studio in Albuquerque or at a specified time at our Santa Fe store where the position will be located.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, offer personalized assistance, and provide product knowledge to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
Maintain a thorough understanding of jewelry products, including features, benefits, and pricing to effectively communicate with customers
Process transactions, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain a tidy sales floor to ensure a seamless customer experience
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and designers to make informed sales recommendations and be willing to learn southwest jewelry artist styles and gain knowledge of turquoise and gemstone varieties
Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, share product knowledge, and provide exceptional customer service
Participate in visual merchandising, inventory management, and store displays to create an engaging shopping environment

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 31.0 per week
