Hardware Resources, Inc. is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to own and grow our Las Vegas/New Mexico/El Paso territory. This is a field-based role built for a seasoned outside sales professional who knows how to manage a large territory, build lasting trade relationships, and consistently drive new business.

What You’ll Do

Own and grow a large, assigned sales territory across Las Vegas, New Mexico, and El Paso, with responsibility for market coverage, account development, and revenue growth
Develop and execute a territory plan that prioritizes high-potential dealers, manufacturers, showrooms, and retail partners
Manage a large customer base through consistent field visits, route planning, follow-up, and disciplined CRM documentation
Build strong relationships with existing dealers while actively prospecting and converting new accounts
Present products through in-person meetings, demos, showroom consultations, and jobsite or dealer visits
Identify market opportunities, competitive threats, and category growth potential within the assigned territory
Execute strategic plans to increase market share and outperform competitors
Collaborate with an Inside Sales Representative for full territory support, quoting, follow-up, and customer service alignment
Stay current on product updates, promotions, pricing, and market trends to support consultative selling
Travel overnight as needed to cover New Mexico and El Paso markets

What We’re Looking For

Proven success in B2B outside sales, territory sales, or field-based account management
Demonstrated experience managing a large geographic territory, including route planning, account prioritization, and regular customer visits
Ability to sell into a large, diverse market with multiple customer types, including dealers, manufacturers, showrooms, retailers, designers, or contractors
Track record of growing existing accounts while prospecting and opening new business
Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
Self-motivated and highly organized with the discipline to work independently in a remote field sales environment
Experience in cabinet hardware, kitchen and bath design, building materials, construction, flooring, or related industries preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
Valid driver’s license required
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, with schedule flexibility based on customer appointments, route planning, and territory travel
