Full Job Description

Care Aide (1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available) + $750 Sign-On Bonus

Keene Valley Neighborhood House, a non-profit assisted living residence, is expanding its workforce. Newly added shifts for Caregiving Aides are now available. If you are a compassionate, dedicated caregiving aide interested in earning $45,000-$65,000 (including attendance incentives, shift differentials, periodic and annual bonuses, and occasional VOLUNTARY overtime - WE NEVER MANDATE, but we will try to bribe you LOL), you owe it to yourself to give us a call. CNAs and Home Health Aides are encouraged to apply, however, no experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right person.

As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing daily care and assistance to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

*** WE ARE OFFERING A $750 SIGN-ON BONUS ***

($250 paid after 30 days, $250 paid after 60 days, $250 paid after 6 months)

Responsibilities:

- Help residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting (as needed)

- Help residents with mobility and transfers (as needed)

- Ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents

- Communicate with the Nurse Manager about any new healthcare issues or unusual incidents that have been observed

- Help serving meals

- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents by providing light housekeeping and laundry duties

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Compassion, patience, and reliability

- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays

- Reliable transportation to commute to work

Salary: starting at $45,000 to $47,200/year MINIMUM (depending on shift worked; based on hourly pay for 40-hours per week including attendance incentives); $50,000-$65,000 is possible with periodic bonuses and minimal voluntary overtime.
