Reporting Relationship: Reports directly to VP of Operations & Regional Manager

Pay Range: $60,000-$80,000 Salary, plus Monthly Bonuses & Commissions

LOGISTICS MANAGER

At ZoomAround, we believe that delivering a five-star customer experience begins long before our customers receive their golf cart. We are committed to building an operational team that is proactive, efficient, and dedicated to ensuring every delivery, pickup, and customer interaction exceeds expectations.

We are seeking an experienced, organized, and solutions-driven Logistics Manager to lead the daily execution of our delivery and fleet operations across multiple locations. This leadership role serves as the operational command center of the company and is responsible for routing strategy, fleet optimization, vehicle availability, driver support, and ensuring every reservation is executed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

As the Logistics Manager, you will oversee the daily coordination of deliveries, pickups, fleet utilization, and operational logistics while serving as the primary resource for drivers throughout the day. You will develop routing strategies, proactively solve operational challenges, coordinate emergency response efforts, optimize fleet availability, and work closely with multiple teams to ensure seamless execution of daily operations. Your ability to anticipate challenges, make sound decisions under pressure, and continuously improve operational efficiency will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the company's continued growth.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Experience managing daily logistics, dispatch, routing, or operational workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Experience coordinating schedules, resources, and personnel to meet operational demands.
Strong ability to multitask, prioritize competing responsibilities, and effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Experience improving operational processes to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall operational performance.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills with attention to detail.
Experience collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth daily operations and effective communication.
Proficiency using computer systems, Microsoft Office, and technology to support daily operations and administrative responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a fun, positive, high-energy, and team-oriented work environment where team members feel valued, motivated, and empowered to succeed
Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction across multiple locations.
Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, systems, and workflows to increase efficiency, enhance the customer experience, and support internal team success.
Oversee all daily routing operations across multiple locations to ensure every delivery and pickup is completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Develop daily routing game plans that maximize driver productivity, minimize drive time, and ensure operational efficiency.
Ensure all routes are fully optimized and finalized prior to driver departures while continuously monitoring route progress and making real-time adjustments throughout the day as operational needs arise.
Oversee fleet optimization to maximize revenue while preventing scheduling conflicts and double bookings.
Oversee vehicle availability by strategically transferring carts between locations to ensure adequate inventory is always available to support new reservations across multiple locations.
Coordinate emergency roadside assistance, replacement vehicles, and service recovery efforts to minimize downtime and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers throughout the day by providing routing support, operational guidance, troubleshooting assistance, and timely solutions to daily challenges.
Handle operational escalations involving drivers, routes, deliveries, pickups, and customers to ensure issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
Coordinate same-day schedule changes, emergency requests, vehicle swaps, and route adjustments with minimal disruption to operations.
Assist in troubleshooting vehicle issues and determine the most effective operational response.
Monitor vehicle readiness, maintenance status, and fleet availability while working closely with the General Manager and Mechanics to minimize downtime and return vehicles to service as quickly as possible.
Continuously analyze operational performance and identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency, fleet utilization, labor productivity, and overall profitability
Report operational performance, fleet utilization, routing efficiency, and key performance indicators to the Executive Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Logistics and/or Operations Experience 5+ years (preferred)
Prior leadership experience, leading a team or projects
Demonstrated successful management of stressful situations
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment within a rapidly growing company
Ability to work Thursday – Monday with changes as needed during peak seasons
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, & Point of Sales Systems

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to lift, carry, and place supplies up to 25 pounds without assistance
Possible reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
Communicate effectively in person, by telephone, or by using telecommunications equipment
Enters and locates information on computer
Visually verifies information, often in small print
Presents information to small and large groups
Safely operate motor vehicles
