Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical imaging techniques, with expertise in operating MRI equipment and performing diagnostic procedures. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality imaging studies, ensuring patient safety, and supporting accurate diagnosis through precise imaging practices. Your role will contribute significantly to patient care and the overall efficiency of our diagnostic services. This position involves a four-day work schedule, with shifts assigned between Thursday and Sunday at both our Venice and Sarasota locations. Candidates must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday.

Duties

Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with friendly guest service.
Ability to scan sequences and imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
Adheres to company protocol and safety guidelines as well as ACR requirements.
Knowledge of technical factors to enhance images quality as needed.
Assumes responsibility for designated area as procedures as requires.
Maintains and orders supplies as needed.
Ability to start IV’s for the purposes of performing MRI exams
Performs screening of patients and other individuals before allowing them in the MRI area. Following ACR guidelines
Prior Philips experience a plus.

Pay: $43.00 - $46.00 per hour
