Assistant Manager – Licari's Sicilian Pizza Kitchen (Hudsonville, MI)

Position: Assistant Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Licari's Sicilian Pizza Kitchen
Schedule: 25–30 hours per week (primarily evenings and weekends)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of restaurant management or leadership experience

About the Position

Licari's Sicilian Pizza Kitchen is seeking an energetic, dependable, and hospitality-driven Assistant Manager to help lead our evening operations in Hudsonville, Michigan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, enjoys developing team members, and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with ownership and the management team to oversee daily operations, support front and back-of-house teams, and maintain the high standards that define the Licari's brand.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee nightly restaurant operations
Ensure an outstanding guest experience from arrival to departure
Supervise, coach, and motivate front and back-of-house team members
Assist with opening and closing procedures
Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and service standards
Address guest concerns professionally and efficiently
Support staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage as needed
Maintain a positive and accountable team culture
Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Assist with inventory management and operational organization
Communicate effectively with ownership and fellow managers

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of restaurant management, shift leader, or supervisory experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Dependable and punctual
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
