As a Decor & Venue Assistant, you'll play a key role in preparing our venues for weddings and events by setting up furniture, installing décor, organizing inventory, and ensuring every event space is picture-perfect before guests arrive.
No two events are the same, making every shift exciting and rewarding.
What You'll Do
- Set up ceremony and reception spaces according to detailed floor plans
- Install décor, centerpieces, linens, candles, signage, and specialty rental items
- Assist with event flips between ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions
- Break down décor and event equipment following each event
- Organize, clean, and maintain décor inventory and storage areas
- Load, unload, and transport décor and event equipment between venues as needed
- Ensure all event spaces meet The Grant Collection's quality and presentation standards
- Work alongside Venue Managers and Event Teams to execute events efficiently
- Assist with warehouse organization and seasonal inventory projects
- Maintain cleanliness of event spaces before and after events
- Wash, dry, organize, and properly store venue dinnerware and other event service items
- Help with other event setup tasks as needed

Physical Requirements
This is a physically active position. Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds (tables, chairs, décor, and event equipment)
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, and climb ladders
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Push carts and move event equipment throughout multiple venues
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Position Details
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $14.00–$19.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
Occasional Warehouse & Prep HoursMonday–Thursday | Hours vary based on event preparation
Event DaysThursday–Sunday | Hours vary based on event schedules
This position requires flexibility, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional late nights.

Travel between venues may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service, hospitality, warehouse, moving, or event experience preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
