Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Worker, Line Cook, or Prep Cook and become a vital part of creating exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for food preparation, maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation, and supporting the kitchen’s smooth operation. Whether you're seasoned in fine dining or bringing restaurant experience to the table, your culinary skills will help deliver delicious meals efficiently and consistently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork, creativity, and quality.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pans, and food production machinery
Maintain cleanliness by following strict food safety sanitizing procedures and ensuring all work areas meet health standards
Assist with meal preparation for high-volume production, catering events, or daily service
Support menu planning efforts by understanding dish components and assisting with ingredient prep
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling protocols to prevent contamination
Follow recipe adherence closely to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation within dietary or dietary aide settings is highly desirable
Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly
Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a professional kitchen environment
Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during high-volume service periods
Familiarity with menu planning, food production processes, and culinary standards in fine dining or restaurant settings
Excellent food handling skills with attention to detail in recipe adherence and meal presentation
Previous catering or large-scale food service experience is a plus
