Overview

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Chef de Cuisine to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu creation to food safety, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service. Job Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
Develop innovative menus that highlight seasonal ingredients while maintaining cost control and inventory management
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency with high-quality standards
Manage food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and compliance with health regulations
Coordinate catering and banquet services, ensuring timely execution and exceptional guest satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels, control food costs, and oversee ordering processes to optimize resources
Train staff on food production techniques, kitchen safety, and service standards to promote continuous improvement
Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods and special events

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in a leadership role within fine dining establishments or high-volume kitchens
Extensive background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management
Demonstrated success in supervising teams, managing inventories, and controlling costs within the food industry
Strong knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, dietary requirements, and catering operations
Experience with banquet services, event catering, and restaurant management preferred
Skilled in managing multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service
Familiarity with bartending or beverage service is a plus but not required

Critical Skills

Ability to read, understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
Ability to manage a diverse workload and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Uses tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively
Willingness to provide exceptional service to members and desire to provide leadership to position the department to achieve the mission
Presents him/herself in the utmost professional manner and operates with integrity

Physical Demands
