Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Day Porter/Cleaning Specialist to join our team! This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of our commercial/industrial spaces. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a clean and welcoming environment for both employees and clients. This position offers an engaging opportunity to utilize your custodial skills while contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restroom sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Assist with janitorial duties across multiple areas, ensuring all spaces are tidy and well-maintained throughout the day.
Support facilities maintenance by reporting maintenance issues and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.

Experience

Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or hospitality settings is highly preferred.
Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance procedures.
Familiarity with commercial cleaning tools and supplies, including vacuums, buffers, mops, and cleaning chemicals.
Experience working as a porter or in a custodial role within busy environments is preferred.
