Physical Therapy Aide
Hicksville, NY | Part-Time | Monday–Saturday | Day & Evening Shifts
We are seeking a reliable, professional, motivated, honest, and hardworking Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at our Hicksville location.
This is a great opportunity for college students or individuals interested in healthcare, physical therapy, or medical office work. Previous experience in a physical therapy or medical office is preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with exercise programs and patient activities as directed
- Help create a friendly, welcoming, and positive environment for patients
- Interact professionally and courteously with patients and staff
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the clinic
- Assist with general front-desk and administrative tasks as needed
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for patient use
- Follow clinic procedures and support the therapy team to ensure smooth daily operations
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Professional and friendly personality
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable interacting with patients of different ages and backgrounds
- Previous healthcare, physical therapy, medical office, or customer service experience is a plus
- Students pursuing healthcare-related studies are encouraged to apply
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, with day and evening shifts available
