Full Job Description

Seeking Front Receptionist/Customer Service - 2 yr exp req

Our Highland, Indiana, materials company is looking to expand our customer service team. Your main task will be to work with and assist other office staff to ensure customer needs are met. This position would include helping customers complete orders, communicating with company drivers critical details, and keeping the related office paperwork organized.

Your main duties would include:

Answering all incoming calls and routing them to appropriate people while using a 4-line telephone system.
Assisting walk-in customers with product questions and completing front counter orders/tickets.
Assisting both vendor delivery drivers and company drivers with questions and helps to organize and sort related shipping tickets and details.
Efficiently processes related clerical work such as sorting ticket orders and business-related documents, and enters them into the computer system.
Provide administrative support duties when needed to others in the office.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to maintain a friendly, approachable style to build relationships and always work harmoniously with coworkers and customers.
Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Has prior administrative office experience of at least 2 years and has a minimum of a high school diploma.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Prioritizes tasks while staying focused on several projects simultaneously.
Can read and write in English. Candidates who can also read and write in Spanish would be preferred.
Seeing one person to consistently work 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday with an occasional Sat AM. Seeking a second person for Mondays and Wednesdays for the same hours (different benefits).

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:

Work in an environment that is usually moderately noisy.
Frequently move between standing, sitting, and walking.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds.
