Title: Market Operations Manager Supervisor: Director of Operations/District Director
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Market Operations Manager to lead and optimize our operations in Scottsbluff, Sidney, and Cheyenne, WY. This role is vital in driving operational excellence, enhancing process efficiencies, and ensuring seamless coordination between FBG and its clients.
On a day-to-day basis, the is involved in the coordination and supervision of employees, conducting and attending meetings; visiting and maintaining customer relations, ensuring that work is performed within specifications; tracking work through reports and on-site inspections; reviewing and retuning accounts, ensuring employee training occurs; monitoring supply and equipment usage, storage, and maintenance; administering safety programs, and investigating and reporting accidents or incidents; administering personnel policies in accordance with company policies; maintaining quality control over work and documenting inspection reports, providing feedback to employees, responding to employee and customer concerns, and assisting in the marketing effort.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all company, customer, regional, state and federal rules, regulations and practices are followed. Ensure that competency-based training occurs and is documented in the areas of OSHA, employment practices, wage and salary administration, ADA, EEOC, safety, PPE, proper work standards, and hazardous products.
- Ensure that operations supports regional and company goals. Ensure that all safety processes, techniques, and practices are implemented, followed, and monitored. Identify personnel demonstrating the desire and potential for promotion and communicate through evaluations your succession plan. Develop other team members to assume your responsibilities.
- Assist and support the marketing and sales efforts of the company. Ensure that all direct costs are maintained at or below budget for the division, while maintaining quality performance for the customer. Ensure overtime and/or costs are within budget and ensure account profitability. Ensure that all reports to support areas of the company meet established timelines and are provided in the manner requested. Help retain customer relations by communicating during JSR properly.
- Be proactive with selecting, hiring, training, and evaluating personnel in a timely manner. Ensure that the selection, hiring, and evaluation processes are administered according to company policies. Actively look for and participate in additional training opportunities for personal development and employee development. Monitor and ensure turnover is kept at a minimum and to improve attitude and work environment for the employee.
- Proactively participate in employee and customer satisfaction systems. Ensure understanding of customer wants, needs, desires, and monitor fulfillment by ensuring that the job schedules and periodics are properly written, implemented, and maintained current and proper implementation of the inspection and evaluation systems are followed.
- Monitor profit & loss statements, budgeting processes, and cost control measures to ensure financial targets are achieved while maintaining high service levels.
- Assist in ensuring that the company mission, vision, values and quality system is understood by all and used to help guide decisions concerning the company, customer and team members. Assist in ensuring that regional personnel are aware of expectations of their positions, including awareness of and compliance with company policies and procedures. Make suggestions for improving practices. Use and promote the use of the Corrective Action Request form (CAR).
Experience
Three years in a management/supervisory position; knowledge of industry related state and federal guidelines; operating within written budgetary guidelines; monitoring and maintaining employee and customer satisfaction systems; making presentations to groups; identifying marketing and sales opportunities; computer operation; management of geographically dispersed areas.
