Full Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students in grades K-4 by providing essential emotional support within a school setting. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 9, 2026, giving you the chance to make a lasting impact throughout the academic year. Be part of a dedicated team focused on empowering young learners and fostering a positive school environment.

Key Qualifications:

Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker
Demonstrated experience providing social work services in elementary schools
Strong knowledge of emotional support strategies for young learners (grades K-4)
Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff for student success
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional ethics

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized and group social work services to elementary students requiring emotional support
Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
Serve as a liaison between home, school staff, and community resources to ensure student well-being
Provide crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and referrals for additional services as needed
Maintain detailed records in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
Support school-wide initiatives aimed at improving the social and emotional climate
