Full Job Description

Our organization is seeking a dependable and creative professional who has strong communication skills, prior experience as a craft bartender, and who can work well with a diverse customer base. The ideal candidate will be familiar with all types of liquor and will ensure that every customer receives a high level of personal attention at all times. We're looking for a Barback who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, has great math skills, and can multitask effectively.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders and ensuring a seamless service experience for our guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality, cleanliness, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist bartenders with the preparation and serving of beverages to ensure timely service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
Replenish stock of liquor, beer, wine, garnishes, and other supplies as needed.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
Support food preparation as necessary to assist with customer orders.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs promptly.
Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or nightclub environment is preferred
Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality.
Familiarity with cash handling processes and experience using Toast POS systems
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
A clean appearance and adherence to hygiene standards are essential.
Knowledge of food preparation and handling is advantageous.
