Senior Tax Manager

We are a well-established public accounting firm serving individuals, closely held businesses, and organizations throughout Central Florida. We pride ourselves on delivering personalized, high-quality tax and advisory services while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Senior Manager to join our growing team. This leadership role is ideal for a tax professional who excels in client service, technical expertise, and team development. You will oversee complex tax engagements, mentor staff, and play a key role in shaping client strategy and firm growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing proactive tax planning and advisory services
Research and resolve advanced tax issues and ensure compliance with current regulations
Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers
Oversee engagement planning, budgeting, and billing
Identify opportunities for process improvements and firm growth
Stay current on tax law changes and industry trends

Qualifications

CPA license required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred)
8+ years of public accounting tax experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
Proven ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Experience with tax software and workflow systems
