Overview

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for retail management and exceptional customer service? We are seeking an energetic and motivated Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead a dedicated sales team, and drive business growth. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring operational excellence, and creating an engaging shopping environment that keeps customers coming back. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the retail team, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, stock replenishment, and maintaining optimal product displays.
Manage sales targets by implementing effective sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and motivating team members to achieve goals.
Handle payroll processing, cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to develop team skills in customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures.
Maintain inventory control through regular stock audits, purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and inventory management systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store standards while fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and communication.

Skills

Proven experience in retail store management with strong leadership capabilities in supervising teams.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and effectively manage managerial responsibilities.
Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping tools, and basic math skills for financial transactions.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, and operational management to maximize profitability.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases effectively.
Experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, employee orientation, training & development programs.
Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques such as merchandising, marketing initiatives, wireless sales (if applicable), and grocery or specialty store operations.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, perform cash handling accurately, and oversee shift management duties.
