Job description

Position: PARAMEDIC

Full time
(*Part Time available, requirements 1 shift per week.)

Shift: 12hr and 24hr shifts available

Starting Salary Range for Full Time: $59,488.00 - $73,216.00 per year

Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency calls and provide medical assistance to patients in need
Assess patients' conditions and administer appropriate medical treatment
Perform airway management, including intubation and ventilation
Monitor and record vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels
Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
Conduct physical examinations and gather patient medical history
Administer injections and medications as directed by medical protocols
Perform venipuncture for blood draws and IV placement
Transport patients safely to medical facilities, such as hospitals or clinics
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Experience:

Previous experience as a Paramedic or in a similar role is preferred
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
Familiarity with emergency room procedures and protocols
Ability to lift heavy objects and assist with patient movement

Proficient in administering medications and performing basic medical procedures.
