Full Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining operational efficiency by promptly addressing repair needs, upholding stringent safety protocols, and adeptly managing emergency maintenance scenarios. This position demands effective communication, flexibility, and a solid grasp of building infrastructure and equipment. Your expertise will directly contribute to ensuring a secure and functional environment.

Responsibilities:

Execute significant electrical, mechanical, and structural repairs and installations, utilizing schematics and blueprints to ensure precision.
Diagnose and resolve drive-related problems down to the component level, covering a range of controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, and Allen Bradley.
Pinpoint the underlying causes of equipment failures and suggest proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders regarding the status of equipment repairs and maintenance.
Advise supervisors on the necessity of external services, collaborating with service representatives on equipment and control system repairs and installations.
Develop detailed sketches of mechanical or structural modifications/installations and electrical circuits to guide project execution.
Proficiently use material handling equipment, including hoists, carts, lifts, and forklifts, to safely move materials of varying weights.
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain CNC machinery, electrical systems, and pneumatic and hydraulic equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

Required Skills

Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, demonstrating a solid understanding of maintenance practices.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, CNC machines, and control systems.
Ability to interpret and work from schematics and blueprints, ensuring accurate and effective repairs and installations.
Capable of maintaining mechanical machine tools, including lathes, grinders, mills, drills, machining centers, and similar equipment.
Demonstrated teamwork abilities, contributing to a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Preferred Skills

High School Diploma or GED.
3+ years of experience in CNC machine maintenance, showcasing specialized expertise in CNC systems.
Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
