Job Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Tax Accountant and play a vital role in managing our clients' tax compliance and planning strategies. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, researching complex tax regulations, and providing expert advice to optimize tax outcomes. Your analytical skills and understanding of financial accounting principles will help ensure accurate filings and compliance. This position offers opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment, with responsibilities including calculating estimated taxes, identifying deductions, assisting with audits, and staying current on tax law changes. Your expertise will directly contribute to our clients’ financial success.

Responsibilities: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses. Calculate and file estimated taxes. Identify potential deductions and credits to reduce tax liability. Provide advice on tax planning strategies. Stay up-to-date on tax law changes. Research complex tax issues and provide solutions. Prepare financial statements for clients. Assist with audits and other compliance activities. Prepare journal entries for clients' books, maintain fixed assets schedules, and work with the general ledger. Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word preferred.

Qualifications: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Understanding of financial accounting principles. Knowledge of current tax laws and regulations. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience in preparing financial statements is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
