About the Role
We are seeking qualified contractors to fulfill the role of a Customer Service Center Associate who communicates with clients and assists with general program questions.
This on-site opportunity is open to individuals located in San Antonio, TX and/or surrounding areas.
Contractors will be engaged and paid by a third-party payroll supplier, BCforward , which will serve as the employer of record for tax and compliance purposes.
Key Responsibilities
Core Duties
Reviews and evaluates client information such as paystubs and other documentation to determine eligibility for monthly reimbursement
Contacts PA members to request necessary information when a change was identified, or when a document received is not valid
Responds to incoming calls from clients and/or employers
Observes professional standards of conduct, including attendance, professional behavior and dress code Develop and maintain professional business relationships through verbal and written communication with team members, employers, and Premium Assistance members
Identify and communicate process improvements
Multi-tasking ability to prioritize work and work under time constraints
Experience in critical thinking, and problem solving
Ability to work with multiple personnel under minimal supervision
Completes or exceeds daily goals – assist management with escalations
Assist with training new agents.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Deliverables or Project Scope
Ensure accurate and timely eligibility determinations for Premium Assistance cases
Meet or exceed daily productivity goals and assist with escalations as needed
Support process improvements and contribute to training new team members
Maintain compliance with professional standards
Collaboration Tools or Platforms
Case Management Software for documentation review and case tracking
Microsoft Office Suite for communication and collaboration, task reviews and updates
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service and/or contact call center experience
Minimum of 1 year experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to manage workflows and prioritize tasks effectively
Bilingual (Spanish)
Exceptional interpersonal skills for building professional relationships
Experience in critical thinking and process improvement initiatives
Strong attention to detail
Must be able to work with minimal supervision
Additional Information / Requirements
Must be comfortable handling confidential information and maintaining compliance with company policies
Basic computer applications and data entry
Schedule / Operating Hours
Monday through Friday
8-hour shift per day between the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM CST
