Marine Systems Supervisor
As the Marine Systems Supervisor, you will be a working supervisor and you will lead your team of technicians in the installation of engines, plumbing, electrical and auxiliary equipment on our boats. You will utilize a hands-on leadership style demonstrating expertise and collaboration while ensuring high standards and efficiency

What You'll Do

Develop production techniques that emphasize quality, efficiency, and repeatability
Plan and coordinate upcoming work to ensure materials, drawings, and tools are available
Monitor production schedules and delegate resources to meet deadlines
Lead installation of engines, fuel systems, plumbing, electrical, and auxiliary equipment
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints; resolve discrepancies with design as needed
Inspect and test completed systems to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance with standards
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and drive timely resolution
Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper sequencing and minimize rework
Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and report status to production leadership
Ensure accurate documentation of installs, testing, and job progress
Follow and enforce safety policies, including PPE and safe system startup procedures
Provide mentorship and training, including tool and equipment sign-offs
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
Oversee maintenance and proper use of shop equipment and tools

What You'll Bring

Proven experience as a supervisor in a marine systems position
At least 5 years of experience in marine systems installation and repair
ABYC Marine Systems Certification a plus
Expertise with a variety of power tools and equipment
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Well versed with reading blueprints and schematics and completing a build
Exceptional ability to notice small details and coach others in best practice
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in different positions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PAY RANGE

$34 - $42/hour

*Starting pay often falls between entry rate and mid-point for new hires and is based upon specific skills and experience
