The leader holds operational oversight for staffing, scheduling, quality metrics, patient safety, and throughput while fostering a highly reliable, patient-centered maternity care model. The scope allows meaningful autonomy to refine workflows, elevate team performance, and ensure a seamless experience from admission through discharge in a respected OB and L&D setting.

Reporting to senior nursing leadership, this role partners closely with fellow nurse managers, ancillary department leaders, and a committed group of obstetric providers. The Maternal Child Health Manager will influence recruitment, retention, professional development, and shared governance initiatives while aligning departmental strategy with broader organizational priorities. Success in this position requires operational fluency, financial awareness, and the emotional intelligence to build trust across disciplines.
