Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join our team. This pivotal role combines comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities with office management duties, ensuring the smooth financial and administrative operation of our organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating expertise in Quickbooks Online and Quicken, and possess a proactive approach to managing financial records, and office processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute significantly to our organization’s efficiency and financial health.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries using accounting software QuickBooks Online.
Conduct monthly account reconciliations, including bank statements and credit card accounts, to ensure data accuracy.
Maintain and update financial records using spreadsheets and accounting systems; perform account analysis and journal entries as needed.
Handle administrative office functions such as managing correspondence, organizing files, coordinating meetings, and overseeing supply inventory.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal controls to safeguard organizational assets.
Collaborate with external accountants or auditors during audits or tax filings as required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a full charge bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a strong understanding of corporate practices.
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks Online), and other financial management tools.
Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger management.
Strong skills in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets), financial report writing, and account analysis.
Familiarity with accounting concepts such as debits & credits, journal entries, budget tracking, and financial statement preparation.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy office environment.
