Full Job Description

Job Title: Line Cook

Employment Type: Part Time

Location: Crystal Springs Sports Bar

Reports To: Kitchen Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items to our quality standards, and ensuring a clean, organized, efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and prep lists.
Cook and plate dishes accurately, efficiently, consistently, and in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization or workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Closely follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Monitor food quality and presentation to meet restaurant standards.
Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar role preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
