Job Title

Electrical Engineer / Electrical Technician

Job Summary

This role is ideal for a technically driven electrical professional who enjoys working with industrial equipment. As a key member of engineering, you will diagnose, design, and support electrical systems for both new and existing machinery. You’ll collaborate with shop technicians, engineering, and sales teams.

We are seeking someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and electrical design, enjoys solving complex problems, and takes pride in supporting high-quality machine builds.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical design work using AutoCAD
Create Bill of Materials based on design
Support PLCs, drives, motors, and associated control systems
Diagnoses, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electro-mechanical equipment
Assist with machine wiring, assembly, and complex electrical builds
Support work order review, parts coordination, and supply organization
Collaborate with sales and internal teams on machine specifications and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications

Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. Candidates with 3–5 years of proven industry experience in industrial machinery, manufacturing, or automation may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Experience in shot blasting, foundry, or heavy engineering is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong technical skills may be considered for technician positions.

Technical Skills

· Knowledge of industrial electrical systems (460V/230V AC and 24V DC control circuits).

· Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Delta, Mitsubishi, etc.).

· Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), soft starters, and motor control circuits.

· Ability to create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

· Knowledge of industrial sensors, limit switches, proximity sensors, encoders, and safety devices.

· Hands-on experience with control panel wiring and machine commissioning.

· Understanding of electrical safety standards

· Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Ability to work independently and under pressure
