We are hiring for part-time or full-time, but let's be honest - you will want to spend as much time here as possible. We are a progressive practice and do NOT perform declaws! No on-call time! Share the love with five other experienced CVTs! We value our techs - one of the owners is actually a veterinary technician!

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend rotations- 4 hour shift, Saturday mornings
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
License/Certification:
- Veterinary Technician Certification (Required)
Work Location: In person Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform animal restraint and handling during examinations and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Collect and analyze laboratory samples for diagnostic testing
- Perform animal catheterization and monitor anesthesia during procedures
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery of animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Certification or degree in veterinary technology
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and behavior
- Proficiency in animal restraint, handling, and care techniques
- Experience with aseptic technique and maintaining sterile environments
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced veterinary clinic environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and veterinary team members
- Flexibility to work 10 hour shifts and some Saturday mornings
