Full Job Description

CRNA Locum Jobs is seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Accountant I to join our fast-paced team onsite in Little Rock, AR. As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our travel CRNAs, including handling travel, lodging, and mileage expenses. This full-time, entry-level position offers a negotiable compensation rate based on experience and expertise. You will report directly to our Director of Accounting.

About the Role

The successful candidate will perform the following core responsibilities:

Payroll Management

Oversee and process payroll for independent contractors
Ensure accurate and timely payment to contractors in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
Handle any payroll-related inquiries or issues from contractors

Expense Management

Manage and reconcile travel, lodging, and mileage expenses for independent contractors
Maintain accurate records of expenses and ensure compliance with company guidelines

Vendor and Facility Account Reconciliation

Reconcile accounts with vendors and healthcare facilities
Ensure that invoices and payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Resolve discrepancies promptly

Recruitment Fee Management

Administer and track recruitment fees and invoices

Company Financials

Review and track organizational accounts receivable and accounts payable
Maintain records and organization of all company accounts

Financial Reporting

Generate financial reports and statements as needed by the management team
Provide insights and analysis on financial performance to support decision-making

Compliance and Regulations

Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements
Ensure that all financial processes adhere to legal and industry standards

Skills and Competencies

Ability to work on-site in Little Rock, AR, Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Working knowledge of payroll processing, expense management, and account reconciliation
Proficiency in Google Workspace (e.g., Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.) or similar applications (Microsoft Excel, Word)
Meticulous attention to detail and demonstrated ability to deliver consistently accurate results
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to effectively and professionally communicate payroll issues and solutions with CRNAs and facilities via email, phone, and text communication
