Full Job Description

Position Summary

TriShip Partners is seeking an experienced Regional Manager to oversee a portfolio of multifamily communities in the Sioux Falls market. This position is responsible for overall property performance, team leadership, financial oversight, operational consistency, and asset preservation.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong multifamily experience who can effectively support onsite teams, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive results across multiple communities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational oversight and leadership for multiple multifamily communities.
Coach, support, and hold Community Managers and onsite teams accountable for performance.
Monitor occupancy, leasing, collections, delinquency, expenses, resident retention, and other key performance indicators.
Review property financial performance, budgets, expenses, and operational trends.
Conduct regular property visits and inspections to ensure company standards are maintained.
Oversee leasing, maintenance, unit turns, resident relations, vendor performance, and overall property operations.
Develop and implement action plans for properties requiring additional operational support.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements, company policies, and applicable regulations.
Assist with capital projects, property transitions, stabilization efforts, and special projects as needed.
Provide executive leadership with regular updates regarding portfolio performance, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience as a Regional Manager overseeing a multifamily residential portfolio is required.
Proven experience managing multiple apartment communities.
Strong knowledge of multifamily operations, leasing, collections, budgeting, financial reporting, maintenance, and resident relations.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop onsite teams.
Strong financial, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned portfolio.
