Full Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunity for a skilled Clinical Pharmacist with experience in both hospital inpatient and outpatient settings, located in Sitka, Alaska. This travel pharmacist role offers the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential pharmaceutical care to diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately and efficiently to hospital inpatients and outpatients
Review and interpret prescription orders to ensure appropriate medication therapy
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and medication management
Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies as necessary
Educate patients and staff on medication usage, side effects, and interactions
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies

Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist with current state licensure or ability to obtain Alaska licensure
Experience in clinical pharmacy practice within hospital inpatient and outpatient settings
