Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

Crew Buyers LLC is seeking an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our home-based company. As an Administrative Assistant, you will take the lead on office tasks, such as filing, generating reports, managing communications, book keeping and ensuring that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with accuracy, high quality and in a timely manner. This individual must be able to communicate positively and effectively when dealing with people and respond to inquiries efficiently. This position will require travel to New Orleans East a minimum of three days per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Creates and maintains filing systems, both electronic and physical;
Generates, submits and reconciles expense reports;
Receives invoices and reviews for accuracy;
Manages accounts and performs bookkeeping;
Manages all communications including emails and phone calls;
Schedules appointments and meetings as needed;
Handles and receives mail and deliveries; sorts and files incoming mail;
Ensures excellent customer service standards are met by providing information and assistance to clients in a timely and efficient manner;
Responds proactively and calmly when handling difficult situations;
Maintains a professional, calm, and courteous demeanor at all times when dealing with clients;
Maintains a neat and organized work area;
Perform other related duties as required.

Educational Background

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of two years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience required.

Preferred Skills and Experience

· Ability to use basic office procedures and equipment. Expertise in the use of personal computers, literacy in the following software packages: Windows, Microsoft Office Programs with proficiency in Word and Excel.

· Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking skills; attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to take initiative and complete tasks successfully without supervision.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to adapt to changing work priorities and maintain flexible working hours.

· Ability to keep concise records.
