Full Job Description

We’re building a world where concussion recovery is clear, personalized, and managed from home, not a mystery behind outdated protocols or fragmented care. And we’re looking for a physician with deep concussion expertise to lead the way.

About the Role:
We’re hiring a Texas-licensed MD or DO who can serve as both a frontline telehealth clinician and clinical leader on our team. You’ll treat concussion patients through virtual care, shape clinical protocols, and help guide the evolution of a digital-first recovery platform.

This is an opportunity to bring cutting-edge concussion care to patients nationwide, while joining an early-stage team with massive ambition and a deep sense of purpose.

What you'll do:

Conduct virtual evaluations of patients with suspected concussions, offering clear diagnosis and guidance
Design and prescribe personalized, evidence-based recovery plans using modern, multimodal treatment approaches
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—neuropsychologists, PTs, OTs, neuro-optometrists, and more
Provide follow-up care and adapt recovery plans as patients progress
Monitor patient recovery data through our AI-enabled companion app and recommend adjustments asynchronously
Contribute clinical insights to our product, content, and strategy teams to continuously improve care delivery
[Future] Lead and mentor a national network of concussion-focused physicians
[Future] Contribute to clinical research and innovation in post-concussion care

Are the go-to concussion expert in your community and want to expand your reach
Have a low tolerance for outdated “dark room” recovery advice and are passionate about evidence-based rehab
Thrive in a startup environment—creative, flexible, fast-moving, and open to shaping things from the ground up

Qualifications:

MD or DO, board-certified and licensed in Texas and possibly more U.S. states (multi-state licensure is a plus)
At least 3 years of clinical experience managing concussion cases, ideally with adolescents or young adults
Experience delivering care via telehealth
Familiarity with current concussion consensus guidelines and progressive rehab strategies
Comfortable working independently and asynchronously while collaborating across disciplines
Open to obtaining additional state licenses (we’ll cover the cost)

Schedule:

This is a part-time role, with flexibility to scale hours up over time
You’ll offer at least 2 hours of availability on 3+ days/week, with patients booking 24+ hours in advance
Expect ~2–5 hours/week of patient care to start, with additional time supporting product and clinical design
