Full Job Description

General Responsibility:

Responsible for sewing fabric/leather/vinyl chair covers.
Following the direction of lead sewer

Specific Duties or Tasks:

Sew fabric, leather and vinyl covers for chairs, sofas, and loveseats.
Ability to match pieces of cut material together and sew with appropriate stitch to produce quality cover.
Ability to follow written instructions.
Ability to Sew 25% of product styles at plus 90% efficiency.

Skills Requirement:

Ability to operate single stitch, double stitch, serge, and tunnel tie sewing machines.
Ability to thread sewing machine and make simple adjustments.
Minimum three (3) years experience in upholstery sewing.

Specific Responsibilities Related to Environment, Health and Safety (EHS):

Consistently follows EHS general rules and procedures and is aware of the EHS policy.
Demonstrates good initiative for working safely, reporting, and participating in EHS.

Physical Demands:

Light lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs, straight pulling, use of fingers, depth perception, ability to distinguish color and shades.
